【課題1】自然界に学ぶ人工物設計論

【概要】シミュレーション技術を駆使し、動物や植物の形態に学ぶ人工物設計論の研究開発を行う。また身体親和性を考慮した設計法と加工法について研究開発を行う。
Outline of projects:Artificial design theory learning from the form of animals and plants will be developed by using computer simulation technology. We will also conduct research and development on design methods and processing methods considering affinity with human body.

【課題2】機械学習と最適化技術の融合による革新的設計論

【概要】コンピューターシミュレーションと機械学習・最適化技術を融合した設計技術(逐次近似最適化)の研究開発を行う。開発した技術を薄板成形法や射出成形法などの生産技術分野へ応用し、その有効性を検証・実証する。
Outline of projects:Methodology using numerical simulation, computational intelligence (called machine learning), and optimization is developed. The proposed methodology is applied to various engineering areas such as sheet metal forming and plastic injection molding. The experiment is also carried out in order to examine the validity of the proposed methodology.
